Welcome to Mother of Herbs, founded by Danielle Jiang in 2025 in Montreal, Quebec, with a mission to bring the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine to Canadian families. Growing up in a family with generations of TCM practitioners, Danielle learned firsthand the power of natural healing through herbs, especially the remarkable mugwort plant—known as the "Mother of All Herbs" in Chinese medicine.
We believe that wellness should be accessible, natural, and rooted in time-tested traditions.

Why Mugwort?
Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 3,000 years. Recommended by the Canadian Association of Chinese Medicine Practitioners, mugwort is the essential ingredient in moxibustion therapy and is valued for its warming properties to heal the skin and help for pain relief.
We've developed our signature Mugwort Oil specifically for Canadian climates, formulating it to remain effective even in extreme cold to reduce the itchiness of dry, inflamed and/or irritated skin.
