What is mugwort? Why is it called the 'Mother of Herbs'?
Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) is a medicinal plant that has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 3,000 years. It's called the "Mother of Herbs" because of its central role in moxibustion therapy and its wide range of traditional uses. In Chinese, it's known as 艾草 (ài cǎo).

Yes, our Mugwort Oil is registered with Health Canada (NPN# 80146322) and is formulated with 9 natural ingredients.

It's free from alcohol, parabens, and mineral oils. However, we always recommend performing a patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Mugwort oil is traditionally used in Chinese medicine to reduce the itchiness of dry, inflamed and/or irritated skin.
Can I use your products if I'm pregnant?
We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before using any of our products during pregnancy. Mugwort and moxibustion have traditionally been used with caution during pregnancy.

A: Moxibustion is a traditional therapy that involves burning dried mugwort (moxa) near the skin to warm specific areas or acupuncture points. It has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years to promote circulation and support overall wellness.
Q: Is moxibustion safe to do at home?
A: While many people practice moxibustion at home, we recommend learning proper technique from a qualified TCM practitioner first. Always use in well-ventilated areas, never leave burning moxa unattended, and keep away from flammable materials.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging. Due to health and safety reasons, opened oils, teas, and used moxibustion products cannot be returned. Please see our full Refund Policy for details.
